The Central Archive of Special Jurisdiction: A short history
Even though the Second World War ended over seventy years ago interest in the war has not diminished. Not only scientists, but also the general public frequently research the subject. One of the most researched and the largest Second World War archive of the Netherlands is the central archive of special jurisdiction. This archive contains files on people who were suspected of collaborating with the Germans. The archive is actually made up of a lot of smaller archives of institutions that were related to the special jurisdiction. Why were they combined? What can be found in the 4 kilometres of material? What was the special jurisdiction? Books can and have been written about this, but a very short history of the archive can found below.
